The UK online magazine, blooloop.com, specialising in visitor experience developing companies, will announce the winners of the industry's most prestigious 2024 Innovation Awards at the end of January. Being on a list among a shortlist of world-renowned competitors is already an inspirational achievement in itself.
In its annual competition, labeling as to "Showcasing the spirit of innovation", blooloop.com online magazine has chosen „Arena 15” group as its organizing partner. The US entertainment giant and the UK digital press company now awards the best innovation prizes for 2024 in 18 categories from a pool of more than 150 competitors. Three awards will be given in each category, making a total of more than 50 winners.
Back and Rosta Ltd. entered the competition in the category of „exhibition innovators”, and we are among the top 10 selected with our interactive, touchscreen video wall in one of Europe's largest zoos, Sosto. Built close to Nyíregyháza, an important north-eastern Hungarian city, the Magic Wall was designed to take visitors to the Arctic Circle using modern technology.
Developed in a themed area of the Sosto Zoo - the Arctic Circle of ice - our digital display, consisting of six units of 55-inch monitors, is over 4 metres wide and specially designed to fit the unified theme of Ice World, and is surrounded by a wall panel representing an ice wall. One of the main highlights of the new Magic Wall's features is the delivery of information through stunning images and videos.
In addition, as a result of months of collaborative planning, we are also extremely proud that visitors can learn about a lot of animal species in different languages, all through 3D image-rotations of the main animals, immersive full-screen puzzles and other interactive games and challenges and quizzes.
We believe that with our innovative, in many ways ground-breaking, and all-round spectacular, crowd-pleasing educational methods, we have not only created moments of excitements for thousands of zoo visitors, but also stand a solid chance of competing with industry giants and world-renowned competitors such as Ralph Appelbaum Associates and Atelier Brückner.
With two entries of each famous firms - for example, installations for a luxury watch museum in Switzerland or the Museum of Natural History in New York… - these two design studios perhaps are the main contenders in our category. But Magic Wall's interactive digital display is also facing a stiff challenge from other rivals. There are also competitors from fine institutions from Asia and the Middle East, whether it's a playground, another zoo, a theme park, or even the White House visitor centre...
The organizers, blooloop.com magazine and „Arena 15” put together an international jury of around 50 experts to decide the top three winners in each category. One thing is for sure, the Magic Wall digital display by Back and Rosta is once again in a prestigious company, in a very inspiring environment, and this will certainly be a motivating factor for our company's plans for 2025.
