On November 27, 2025, we gathered at the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest—and online—for the “Museums as Bridges between Cultures and Societies” Hybrid Workshop, hosted by Back&Rosta. Participants from across the cultural field joined us for an inspiring conversation on how museums can connect communities and foster international dialogue.

Key Themes

The workshop explored how museums serve as active cultural connectors through:

  • International exhibition exchanges that encourage mutual understanding

  • Collaborative curatorial work and shared professional learning

  • Cross-border cultural initiatives that build trust and dialogue

  • Digital engagement that widens access and participation

Together, these discussions highlighted the growing role of museums as mediators between societies.

We extend our warm thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to the conversation. We look forward to continuing the exchange of ideas and supporting collaborative cultural initiatives in the future.
